Note: 
On Saturday, June 25, 2011, I hit the wrong button and deleted 5 1/2 years of posts in my blog. After feeling sick for a couple of days, I did what all theological thinkers do: I wondered why it happened. Here are my Top Five best hunches:
5. Because I don’t read the fine print
4. Because I’m looking for a job (and that post about the fairy princess could come back to bite me)
3. Because nothing says Moving to A New Place like losing things (still haven’t found the salad forks)
2. Because God likes Word Press more than Blogger
1. Because I’m supposed to be writing something else.
In these weeks (months?) before employment, I’m working on two projects and I covet your prayers in the process. A Church For Starving Artists returns with regular postings asap. Please check back.

As Mama always told me, “Everything happens for a reason.” Not much consolation, but I think that this does encourage you to be able to get a fresh start on your writing and fits into the whole transition you’re going through. Plus, maybe you’ll be able to do a podcast so I can be inspired by your insights whilst driving to Ohio and back 😉

@ Tracey – Blogger (i.e. Google) seems unhappy that I’m now a WordPress blogger. They have not been helpful. But many of the posts are cached and so all is well.
And (@ Sarah) I still haven’t found the salad forks.

Jan….well, I obviously missed this. Goodness! So sorry that you lost everything…though, I will admit that at times I’ve thought about just deleting everything on Pomomusings and starting over…but, I am glad that you’ve joined the WordPress community…thanks for your voice, I think it’s a very important one.

I have been an avid reader of your blog but lost you as you moved, apparently on this infamous date. I have just now stumbled upon your new location. I look forward to catching up!
Now you may have lost your blog history however I still have text versions on my Google Reader account back to 7/1/2008. I can read them but I don’t know how to capture them in a way that could be returned to you. If you have any idea how to capture them and you are interested in doing so I am willing to help any way I can.
